Workshop beveling for production environments
In the Gulf, the SB range serves Oil & Gas spool shops in Abu Dhabi and Jubail, pressure vessel fabrication yards in Dubai, and gas plant piping prefabrication facilities across Saudi Arabia. Where portable machines cover on-site and field work, the SB320, SB500, and SB600 handle the workshop end of the pipe fabrication chain.
Stationary pipe beveler range
Three models cover diameters from 33 mm to 609.6 mm (1½” to 24”), with semi-automatic and fully automatic configurations to match production volume requirements.
SB320 — 33–320 mm (1½”–12¾”)
A semi-automatic stationary beveler for diameters from 33 to 320 mm. An electronic control panel automates the machining sequence; a self-centering vice with automatic force control holds thinner-wall schedules without marking or distortion. Integrated lubrication and an automatic pipe positioning device maintain bevel geometry from first cut to last across full production runs. Suited to Gulf spool shops processing mid-range pipe diameters for Oil & Gas packages.
SB500 — 114–508 mm (4”–20”)
Covers 114 to 508 mm (4” to 20”), including heavy-wall schedules in Duplex, Inconel, and heavy carbon steel. A self-centering clamping vice distributes load evenly; a coolant recirculation pump extends tool life on sensitive alloys. The control panel gives direct management of chuck feed rate, spindle speed, and beveling-head advance. Tooling is compatible with HSS tools and Supermaxi/Hypermaxi interchangeable-tip holders, simplifying inventory for fabricators running both stationary and portable G.B.C. equipment.
SB600 — 254–609.6 mm (10”–24”)
The fully automatic model in the range, covering 254 to 609.6 mm (10” to 24”). The onboard panel automates spindle speed, feed rate, and coolant across all machining phases; a self-centering clamping device with automatic force control removes per-piece operator adjustment. The variable-configuration spindle handles internal beveling, external beveling, facing, and tapering. Materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, Duplex, and Inconel — covering most Oil & Gas, petrochemical, and power generation piping specifications in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Why stationary beveling machines for workshop production
Throughput and consistency: Automated sequencing, integrated cooling, anti-deformation clamping, and interchangeable tooling hold bevel geometry consistent from the first cut to the last — the standard downstream welding and QA require on runs of 50 to 500 pipe ends.
Workshop fit: The SB range is designed for spool shops supplying onshore Oil & Gas projects, piping fabricators serving gas plant construction in Abu Dhabi or Jubail, and heat exchanger manufacturers preparing pressure vessel components.
